The emission angle of LED wall washers typically comes in three categories: narrow, medium, and wide, approximately 20, 50, and 120 degrees. Currently, high-power models have a projection range of about 5—10 meters.
Operating Temperature:
When used outdoors, it is critical to consider their operating temperature. If they cannot withstand high temperatures, their practicality is significantly reduced. Generally, the temperature of standard LED wall washers is controlled at 40—60 degrees.

Protection Level:
Strict demands should be made when selecting. LED wall washers used outdoors should have a waterproof level of IP65 or higher. Additionally, there should be requirements for pressure resistance, impact resistance, and other protections to ensure the waterproof and dustproof capabilities of the lights under various conditions like wind, rain, and sunlight exposure.
Choose the Appropriate LED Wall Washer Based on Projection Area and Distance:
The projection distance is related to the lens and power. The higher the power, the brighter the projection light. The narrower the angle of the lens, the farther the projection distance.
Lighting Effects Are Determined by Actual Situations:
Light changes have two control modes: RGB and DMX512. DMX512 offers a wider range of effects. The choice should be based on actual needs.
Selection of LED Wall Washer Light Source:
To achieve the required
lighting effect it is important to note that different LED beads use different designs, which affect heat dissipation and accordingly, luminous efficacy. It is crucial not to use low-grade, low-brightness LEDs to cut costs, as the source is what determines whether an LED wall washer's brightness meets standards.
